Your data stays yours
asst.coach is built for coaches who trust us with their team data. Here's exactly what we collect, how we use it, and what we never do with it.

What we collect
Account information
If you create an account, we store your email address and any name you provide. This is used only to identify your account and let you log in. We use Supabase for authentication and data storage.
Team and roster data
If you use the My Teams feature, we store your team names, sport, age group, and roster (player first names). This data is saved to your account so you don't have to re-enter it every session.
Uploaded stat files
When you upload screenshots or CSV files, those files are sent directly to the AI model to generate your analysis. They are not permanently stored. Once the analysis is complete, the file data is discarded. We never write your uploaded files to a database or storage bucket.
Coach notes
Coach notes you enter in the form are sent to the AI model as part of your analysis request. They are not stored after the session unless they are part of a saved analysis tied to your account.
Usage data
We log anonymous usage events — things like which sport and analysis type were used, how many files were uploaded, and whether coach notes were included. These events contain no personal information and are used only to understand how the product is being used.
How we use it
- ✓To generate AI-powered practice plans, game prep, batting orders, and season analyses based on your inputs.
- ✓To save your teams and rosters in the dashboard so you can reuse them across sessions.
- ✓To understand which features are most useful and improve the product over time.
- ✓To send you product updates if you opt in — we do not send marketing email without your consent.
What we never do
Third-party services
Supabase — We use Supabase for user authentication (email/password and Google OAuth) and to store account, team, and roster data. Supabase is SOC 2 Type II certified. Your data is stored in their secure infrastructure.
Anthropic (Claude AI) — Your uploaded files and coach notes are sent to Anthropic's API to generate analysis. Anthropic's API does not use your data to train their models. See anthropic.com/privacy for their full policy.
Vercel — The app is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may log standard request metadata (IP address, browser type) as part of normal web hosting operations.
Google OAuth — If you sign in with Google, Google handles authentication and shares your email address with us. We do not receive your Google password or access to any other Google data.
Data retention and deletion
Account data (email, teams, rosters) is retained as long as your account is active. Saved analyses are retained so you can revisit them from the dashboard.
To delete your account and all associated data, email us at darren@asst.coach and we will remove it within 7 business days.
Anonymous usage logs do not contain personal information and are retained for product analytics purposes.
