How to download a CSV from GameChanger
- 1Open GameChanger and select your team

Upload multiple game CSVs at once
More data means better pattern recognition. Upload your last 3–5 games for the most accurate analysis.
Use coach notes for context the stats can't show
Example: "Tommy has a sore arm, limit his pitching" or "We're playing a doubleheader Saturday." This shapes the entire output.
Run follow-up prompts on the results page
Ask your assistant coach to go deeper on any player, adjust the plan, or build a quick drill. It keeps full context of your analysis.
Print the results before game day
Every output is print-ready. Hit "Print report" on the results page for a clean dugout reference — no phone needed on the field.

What is GameChanger?
GameChanger is a free app that coaches and scorekeepers use to track stats live during games. It's the most common stat-tracking tool in youth baseball and softball. You don't need to use it — coach notes alone work fine.
Do I need stats to use asst.coach?
No. Coach notes alone work for Practice Plans, Game Prep, and Batting Order. Season Analysis is the only mode that requires at least one file upload, since it's designed to analyze actual game data.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your uploads are used only to generate your analysis and are never stored, sold, or shared. Every session is independent.
What age groups work best?
All of them. The analysis adjusts based on the age group you select — a 6U practice plan looks very different from a high school varsity game prep. Just make sure you select the right age group in the form.
GameChanger PDFs don't seem to work well — why?
GameChanger PDFs are image-based, meaning the text inside them can't be read. Screenshots work much better — take a screenshot of the stats screen and upload that as a PNG or JPG instead.
Do I need an account?
No account needed for Practice Plan and Batting Order — just open the app and go. Game Prep and Season Analysis require a free account. Creating an account also saves your teams and rosters so you never re-enter them, and stores your analysis history.
